In the north of the country, Tsehlanyane National Park is set in the Maloti Mountains, part of the Maloti-Drakensberg Transfrontier Conservation Area. At a staggering 2,600 meters above sea level, the park is home to unique berg vegetation, spectacular waterfalls, and remarkable scenery. Just down the river from Semonkong Lodge, the mighty Maletsunyane Falls is one of the highest single-dropping falls in Africa and an attraction worth exploring on foot or on a pony trekking tour. West from Semonkong is the rustic and down-to-earth Malealea Lodge, offering a true Lesotho cultural experience.
